Nordwind Solarbau GmbH

Nordwind Solarbau GmbH has designed and built rooftop and ground-mount solar arrays for industrial clients across northern Germany since 2011. As a full EPC contractor, we take projects from feasibility study through grid connection without subcontracting installation. Our portfolio spans warehouse roofs in Hamburg's port district to ground-mount arrays on former farmland in Schleswig-Holstein, with a combined installed base past 340 megawatt-peak. Around 260 of our 350 employees work on-site: eighteen installation crews of six to eight electricians and fitters, each led by a certified crew lead, plus a maintenance division that services arrays after handover. Engineering and project management sit in our Hamburg office. Crews hold SP1/SP2 electrical work instruction and working-at-height certification, with safety tracked against DGUV standards on every site.
