Foz Azul Turismo runs small-group tours out of Porto: guided city walks through the Ribeira and Vila Nova de Gaia, half-day river cruises along the Douro, and day trips into the Douro Valley vineyards and to Guimarães. Founded in 2013, the company now operates close to year-round, with several departures scheduled daily through the high season. Around 40 partner hotels across Porto refer roughly two-thirds of all bookings; the rest come in directly online or at the kiosk near São Bento station. Departures are capped at 15 guests, and the company runs three boats and six minivans for transfers and connections. High season runs May to September, when the company brings on seasonal guides to cover the extra departures.
